Based on the true story of Donald Crowhurst. 1968: An inexperienced sailor enters a round the world race which he fears he won't be able to complete yet alone win. In order to save his dignity, he decides to cheat to come last but things don't go according to plan.
Follows a man who, 37 years ago, was kicked off his collegiate football team for an altercation. Now at 59, he still carries that burden. He decides to go back to school to get his degree and try out for the team to redeem his past.
